About Us
Housing + Solutions was founded in 2002 to
create a model of permanent housing for homeless women and
families, who are in recovery from substance abuse and who
may have criminal justice histories. It is our belief
that with stable housing and supportive services women will
be inspired and motivated to make positive life choices—reuniting
with their children and families, returning to school and
holding down a job. The first tenants called their home Sunflower
House.
